 Members of the Ntarinkon Cooperative Credit Union have been given assurance to continue enjoying the highest interest on savings of 6% which is the highest offered by a Micro finance institutions in CEMAC Sub Region. The Reconciliation and Development Association (RADA) and the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS) have joined forces to tackle Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Cameroon. After years of struggling with poor waste disposal and growing health risks, residents of Bamenda II will soon witness a major turnaround. The municipality is set to host Cameroon ’s first large-scale sewage and waste management plant , a project many see as a long-awaited solution to the town’s mounting environmental challenges. Waste management has for a long time been a serious problem in Bamenda, with many neighbourhoods overwhelmed by both biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste. Streets, road junctions and streams have turned into dumping sites, exposing residents to health and environmental dangers. The situation has been worsened by the influx of imported drinks from neighbouring Nigeria , whose non-refundable bottles have made recycling efforts difficult for individuals and local communities. The presentation came as a result of the coalition's quest to find lasting solutions to the ongoing anglophone crisis in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.
